Chipangali man defiles girls aged 5, 3 at the same time
TWO girls in Chief Chanje’s area, Chipangali, aged five and three have reportedly been defiled by a 26 year old man who threatened to kill the innocent children if they disclosed the despicable act.
According to sources, the girls were playing near a local well on Sunday when the suspect Chikondi Banda of Mung’omba Village preyed on them.
This incident and discovery is believed to have occurred between Sunday at 07:00 hours and Monday at 16:00 hours.
The mother to one of the little survivors said she discovered the abuse when she attempted to bath her daughter, who resisted and tried to flee.
Eastern Province police commanding officer Robertson Mweemba revealed that the child was then bathed by force and during the process, the mother noticed whitish discharge coming out from daughter’s private part.
As the mother interrogated the child for answers, the daughter revealed that the perpetrator took advantage of her and a friend when he took them to a well to fetch water.
On their way back, he had carnal knowledge of both of them and threatened to kill them if they told anyone.
“A report was made at the police station and medical report forms were issued to both victims,” Mweemba said.
“No arrest has been made yet as the suspect is currently on the run.”
A manhunt has however been launched to bring the culprit to book as investigations proceed.
