Afternoon Greetings

THE TWO GIANT STRIDES TO SALVATION.
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy
heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation.
                                      [Romans 10:8-10]Kjv.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has settled the problem of sin. He did this by his vicarious
death on the tree (cross). If Jesus has already solved the problem of sin, are all
people saved? In the mind of God, Jesus has saved the world from sin. However,
not everyone has taken the giant strides to salvation. Who then is saved? The
Bible says, 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:(John 1;12). This
scripture tells us the qualifications for one to be the son of God
Let’s look at the giant strides you can take to receive Jesus Christ into your life.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation. [Romans 10:910]Kjv.
1.Believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God and that He was was raised fron
the dead: This is the first giant stride to salvation. When you believe in
Jesus Christ, you repent of your sins and have them remitted in Jesus
name. Many think Jesus was just a prophet, no. Jesus said that he is the
son of God. Non of the prophets said so. 17For God sent not his Son into
the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be
saved. (John 3:17). Believing in Jesus Christ ushers you unto
righteousness.(2Cor. 5:21, Romans 5:17).
2.Confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus over your life: To confess
is to speak the truth out. In this case, you speak what you believe in your
heart about Jesus Christ and declare His Lordship over your life. It’s very
interesting because your words are binding. Why is confession vital? Some
people say, well why should I confess Jesus as Lord of my life, I know I
believe in Him and am saved, no. The Bible says, “…and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.”[Romans 10:9-10]Kjv. This means your
salvation from sin only comes when you confess what you believe in your
heart. Your words carry life or death(Prov. 18:21). So you are to speak out! When you speak out, you actually have what you say(Mark 11:23-
24).
Prayer
Dear Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord of life. I also believe
that Jesus Christ died, was buried and was resurrected from the dead and
He is alive today. I receive Him in my life now, I ask you to forgive me of
my sins in the name of Jesus Christ. I now receive my salvation from sin as
I declare Jesus Lord of my life today. I am no longer a sinner, am now the
righteousness of God in Jesus name. Amen.
