Four passengers have escaped unhurt when a Toyota Sienta they were on caught fire in Sinda District yesterday. Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer Robertson Mweemba says police received a report from Charles ZUlu of Show Grounds Compound in Petauke District that the vehicle he was driving caught fire in Sinda. Mr Mweemba says after noticing some smoke, all the four passengers disembarked and the luggage was removed. Mr Mweemba said all the efforts to extinguish the fire proved futile. Credited by ZNBC Today
